CLEANING

Restore the look of your blinds quickly and cost effectively. The Blind Care Company will carefully take down your blinds and transport them with care to our cleaning facility or you can bring your blinds in to us at 47 Mandeville Street, Riccarton (next to Window Treatments). West Coast area drop off's are by appointment only.

  • We remove dust, dirt, grease, smoke residue, nicotine and any other particles on the blinds. 

  • Following the wash, wax and anti-static application, the blinds will be rinsed to remove any residual cleaning agents.

  • The blinds are then reinstalled in their correct position and left open to complete the drying process.


Fabric Blinds
Fabric blinds such as Austrian and Roman are soaked in a specially formulated cleaning product which gently cleans without fading. These blinds are air dried at a cooler temperature to prevent shrinkage and therefore the service is a minimum turn-around of two days.


Wooden Blinds
The Blind Care Company has developed a unique process to restore your wooden blinds to their elegant timeless beauty.  The restoration process will enhance the warmth and texture of the wood blinds, creating the natural ambience that only wood can provide.

  • We will come and carefully take down your blinds and transport them with care to our cleaning facility.

  • Experienced technicians will gently clean all dust and grime from the blinds, ensuring the integrity of the surface is maintained.

  • A specially formulated natural oil and colour enhancer is applied by hand to every surface

  • The surfaces are hand polished at the same time, removing any excess oils not absorbed by the wood.

  • Your blinds are packaged ready for the return journey

  • We then return and re-install your blinds.

  • We use 100% biodegradable cleaning solutions that are environmentally safe.


Awnings & Shade Sail cleaning

  • We can freshen up and revitalise your outdoor awnings or shade sails, just contact us to arrange.

  • We spray with mould release (non-bleach based), shampoo with Proplus detergent, then rinse off with our water blaster.

REPAIRS & SPARE PARTS

We can check blinds for damage, re-cording, re-eyeleting and re-stitching as required, so that your blinds not only look clean and new, but work efficiently as well. If you are simply after a component, click availability on our online Blind Parts Shop or email through photos of the broken piece and we can advise if we can assist.

However, in most cases, if a blind is in sound over-all condition, we can repair it. Repair and alterations can be done at our factory, please phone us to arrange a free quote.
